1. RENTAL TERMS
1.1 Rental period. It is possible to rent garments from Rentalier for three or six days. Items can be booked up to 6 months in advance.
1.2 Pick-up and return of garments. Pick-up and return take place at the Rentalier by Juliès showroom located in The Loft. Art (C.Juan Antonio de Torquemada 6, 29670, Marbella) . Pick-up and return is not available on Sundays (if a client rents an item for three days and the pick-up takes place on Friday, then we expect the item back on Monday). If the return date falls on a public holiday, we expect the dress back on the following day. If the client returns the item late, an additional fee of €25 per each late day applies. If the return is more than 7 days late, the client is obligated to purchase the item at its full market value.
1.3 Security Deposit. A refundable security deposit of €100 to €700 (depending on the value of the garment) is required for each rental. The deposit must be paid in full upon garment collection and will be refunded within 3 business days after the garment is returned in good condition. If the garment is returned late, damaged, or altered, any applicable repair fees, late fees, or replacement costs will be deducted from the deposit. If damages exceed the deposit amount, the client agrees to pay the remaining balance within 5 business days upon request.
1.4 Order cancellation. If the order is cancelled 3 days before the rental date, no additional fee applies. If the order is cancelled less than 3 days before the rental, an additional fee of 10% of the dress rental value applies. If the client does not show up to pick up the reserved item, Rentalier by Juliès will not refund the reservation fee.
1.4 Care of garments. In case of stains or dirt, the dry cleaning will be handled by Rentalier by Juliès. Clients are asked not to wash or clean the garments themselves. It is also prohibited to alter the garments, shorten them, or add decorations. If the client wants to wear accessories with the garment, please ensure they do not leave marks on the fabric. It is prohibited to spray perfume directly onto the garment. If a minor accident happens (a few decorative elements—pearls, sequins—are missing, the zipper is broken but repairable, easily removable stains), we charge an additional fee of €5–€25 for repairs. If the garment has a major defect (a large number of decorative elements missing affecting appearance or value, fabric torn or stretched out, burn marks, stains that cannot be removed in dry cleaning, fastening or zipper broken and needs replacement), we charge €100 up to 90% of the dress value. If the garment has been altered by the client (cut shorter, decorations added, washed at home), the client must pay up to 100% of the garment’s value.
1.5 Before renting, garments can be tried on at the Rentalier showroom located in The Loft.Art. Book a showroom appointment using the Calendly system, which you can find on the product page of the chosen item.
2. GENERAL PROVISIONS
2.1 The website www.rentalier.es is a designer clothing rental platform created by Rentalier by Juliès (Julia Tuul-Kukk, NIF ESY3705441V).
2.2 By using the platform and renting garments, the client confirms their acceptance of the user terms and any other information made available to clients.
2.3 If any provision of the user terms is found invalid due to conflict with the law, it does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
2.4 By using the platform, the User confirms that all information they provide is correct; that they are a fully legally capable individual (at least 15 years old) or that they have all rights and authority to act on behalf of the User. The correctness of these confirmations is assumed, and Rentalier by Juliès is not obligated to verify them.
2.5 By entering data into the platform, the person consents to their data being shared with third parties if it is related to the sales process.
3. USE OF THE PLATFORM
3.1 The client is obligated to make purchases and perform other actions in accordance with these user terms and the instructions displayed on the platform. The client must verify all data they provide and is responsible for its accuracy, bearing any risks or damages caused by errors. Before completing a purchase, the platform displays all submitted data for error detection and correction.
3.2 Rentalier by Juliès has the right to refuse fulfilling a client’s order if the client has not complied with the user terms or platform instructions, or has not paid for the purchase.
3.3 The client is obligated to inform Rentalier by Juliès if any errors, conflicts, or disruptions occur that prevent proper use of the platform.
3.4 When using the platform, the client must:
- 3.4.1 ensure that all information provided through the platform is accurate;
- 3.4.2 not transmit illegal or otherwise prohibited information through the platform;
- 3.4.3 not use the platform for speculative, incorrect or fraudulent actions;
- 3.4.4 not send files containing viruses or other programs that may disturb, damage, or interfere with platform usage, or that may be saved onto other clients’ computers and disrupt functionality;
- 3.4.5 not modify, copy, transmit, sell, reproduce or otherwise unlawfully use the platform or its content.
4. INFORMATION DISPLAYED ON THE PLATFORM
4.1 Rentalier by Juliès will do everything reasonably possible to ensure that the information displayed on the platform is free from errors or deficiencies. The platform will make every effort to correct any errors or deficiencies immediately after discovery.
5. PAYMENT TERMS AND FEES
5.1 When renting garments through the platform, full payment is required. By making payment, the client confirms that they have reviewed and accepted all terms and rules made available through the Rentalier by Juliès platform.
5.2 Rental prices on the platform are displayed in euros and include VAT.
5.3 Payment for rentals can be made via card payment system provided by Stripe.
6. UNAUTHORIZED USE OF THE PLATFORM AND ITS CONTENT
6.1 Unauthorized use, reproduction, modification or publication of the platform or its content is prohibited.
6.2 Any activity that may result in overloading or disrupting the platform is prohibited and will be treated as an unlawful attack, reported to law enforcement authorities. In case of such violations, Rentalier by Juliès will terminate all services provided to the client.
7. FINAL PROVISIONS
7.1 Rentalier by Juliès has the right to change the user terms unilaterally and without prior notice. Changes enter into force from the date they are published on the platform unless otherwise stated.
7.2 Legal relations between the client and the platform are governed by the laws of Spain. Any legal consumer disputes are resolved out of court at the OMIC Marbella (Oficina Municipal de Informacion al Consumidor) or Andalusian Consumer Arbitration System (Junta Arbitral de Consumo de Andalucía). In accordance with Spanish consumer legislation, any judicial dispute shall be resolved by the courts of the consumer’s domicile. These terms do not limit any mandatory consumer rights.
